I decided to make Pendrell number 2 out of pink linen because I wasn't really crazy about this shade of pink. I knew there was a good chance that it would fit and that I stood the chance of having an orphan. Turns out that wasn't true. I completely forgot about my skirt! As you can see, it's a match made in heaven. This outfit got lots of compliments and, more importantly, I spent the entire day NOT FUSSING with my clothes. Score! This is a big win for me.
So, now I'm headed back into my sewing room to make more Pendrells. These will replace the tanks that I tug at all day long. (Yay!) I was so comfortable today, I forgot to wear a sweater, which is something I always do when I wear tanks. Booyah!
Okay, gotta go make more. I'm a "uniform dresser" so multiple pencil skirts and tanks are staples for me. With this top, I can wear them for work and make ones for weekend wear. I might even make up a few for jammie tops.
Up next vintage cotton Pendrell, Liberty of London Pendrell, underlined Pendrell, more linen Pendrells, cherry print Pendrell and another Alexander Henry Pendrell....
